Eden Hazard was known to be the star in the Chelsea team, and for many, he was the best player in the team before he left to join Real Madrid.

However, Chelsea left-back Marcos Alonso didn’t name the Belgian when naming the best players he has ever teamed up with.

The Real Madrid academy product named former Real Madrid players Andres Iniesta and Guti Hernandez as well as Cesc Fabregas as the best players he has featured alongside.

“Best player I have ever played with has to be between Guti at Real Madrid, Iniesta with the national team and Fabregas at Chelsea,” Alonso said in a Q&A on Chelsea’s Instagram.

Alonso also picked out AC Milan legend Paolo Maldini and Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs as players he used to look up to.

“Players I used to look up to, defensively Maldini, offensively Ryan Giggs,” he added.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
