Former Chelsea winger Jeremie Boga has been linked with a return to Stamford Bridge after impressive displays for Italian club Sassuolo.
Boga left Chelsea for Sassuolo in the summer of 2018 and Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is reportedly keen on bringing the winger back to the club.
Amid reports linking him with a return to Stamford Bridge, Boga has revealed Sassuolo are the perfect project for him.
“Sassuolo are the perfect project for me,” he said on Instagram [h/t Football Italia].
“I felt that everyone wanted me: from the coach and board to the players.
“I was shy at the beginning and, when I arrived, I spoke very little. This season has gone better because I’ve started speaking Italian.
“The fans have always made me feel at home. When I dribble, I hear their voices and I like it very much.
“[Manager Roberto] De Zerbi’s very important to me, he’s helped me grow a lot. I think I can still do a lot with him and grow even more.”
Meanwhile, Boga admitted last month that he was open to re-joining Chelsea.
“When I was there, it was Willian, Hazard, Pedro,” Boga told The Athletic. “When Mourinho was there, it was Salah.
“There were a lot of good wingers. For me, it has always been if I can’t play, then I will try to go on loan or try to go somewhere to improve, then maybe come back one day.
“I think our generation was one of the best Chelsea ever had.
“We had so many talented players. It was not easy but every weekend, we were so used to winning 2-0 or 3-0.”
