Reports in Spain claim an important player in Frank Lampard’s team is currently in negotiations with Premier League rivals Liverpool.
According to Spanish media outlet Sport, Chelsea winger Willian is currently in negotiations over a transfer to Liverpool with his contract at Stamford Bridge due to expire on June 30.
Sport claim that negotiations are ‘very favourable’ for the 31-year-old Brazilian as he seeks a lucrative deal if he enters free agency.
Willian has made over 300 appearances for Chelsea since he joined from Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala in 2013 but looks certain to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season after breakdown in talks with the club.
Willian has bagged seven goals and contributed six assists so far this term, including a classy double against fierce rivals Spurs, stepping out from the shadow of Eden Hazard after the Belgian’s summer exit.
The Brazilian has won the Europa League, two Premier Leagues, a FA Cup and a League Cup with the Blues.
