Some bizarre rumours came out this week that Chelsea are considering N’Golo Kante’s future at Stamford Bridge after an injury-hit campaign.
According to 90Min, the Chelsea board are beginning to consider Kante’s future, despite his current contract having three years left to run.
While the Chelsea hierarchy are happy to keep Kante at the club, it is claimed the board are ready to sell on the condition that an acceptable offer is tabled.
Meanwhile, Lyon’s sporting director Juninho Pernambucano has revealed that if Kante is truly up for sale, he’d buy the World Cup winner for his club.
After spotting the story on Twitter, Juninho told Lyon fans that he would love to bring Kante to Lyon, as he sent a hopeful message to fans.
Kante has struggled with injuries this season and has been able to start just 16 of Chelsea’s 29 Premier League games so far.
