Antonio Rudiger has been a key player for Chelsea since joining the Blues in 2017 and his current deal expires in 2022.
Chelsea are keen to keep the German for the foreseeable future, and according to Sky Sports, Chelsea have held initial talks with Rudiger about a new long-term contract. The Blues have now offered the centre-back to sign a three-year deal with an option to extend it for one more year.
Rudiger’s current deal at Chelsea expires in 2022 and the club would love to tie him down at least until 2023 with improved terms.
After joining Chelsea from Roma, Rudiger has gone on to make 105 appearances for the club, scoring 6 goals and providing 2 assists.
He has also had title success as he won the 2017/18 FA Cup and the 2018/19 Europa League with the Blues.
