Former Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur boss Andre Villas-Boas has hinted he isn’t proud of his time in the Premier League after saying he has no interest in ever managing in the Premier League again as it doesn’t fit his style.
Villas-Boas, who is now in charge of French outfit Marseille, spent nine months at Stamford Bridge before being sacked in March 2012 with the Blues lying fifth in the table.
The 42 year old Portuguese then went on to become Tottenham Hotspur boss that summer. He was sacked the following season.
Speaking to Portuguese radio station Radio Renascenca, Villas-Boas said: “I will not go back there.
“It is the championship with the most investment, the best players and teams. But, I like being in a league that includes different game philosophy. This is not the case in England.”
