Manchester United are reportedly closer to signing Borussia Dortmund forward, Jadon Sancho, after holding secret talks with all parties involved for months.
Chelsea and Manchester United are the two clubs to have been strongly linked with a move for Sancho, and reports claim that United have the upper hand in the race for his signature.
According to The Sun, United have made progress on the deal, after agreeing terms with both the player, his reps and current club.
Apparently, the only box yet to be ticked is the transfer fee, with Dortmund reportedly holding out for the £100 million valuation of their star man.
It remains unclear if United will spend that much money on one player, considering the current economic climate around football, although the Red Devils are said to be desperate for his services.
Meanwhile, Sancho remains in hot demand in Europe, and deservingly so. After 23 games in the Bundesliga, the 20 year old has 14 goals and 15 assists. And like we all know, anything is possible.
