According to Daily Mail, Spanish giants Barcelona are keen on selling Brazilian midfielder Philippe Coutinho to Chelsea this summer as they look to raise funds in a bid to land Neymar and Lautaro Martinez.
Coutinho has struggled at Barcelona since his £145 million move from Liverpool in January 2018.
Despite Barcelona boss Quique Setien talking up Coutinho’s chances of returning to the Barca first-team fold for next term by describing him as a great player, the Barcelona board remain committed to selling the Brazilian as it would enable them sign a big name this summer.
Coutinho also wants to return to the Premier League with Chelsea claimed to be his first option.
According to Goal, Barcelona are willing to make a loss on Coutinho and sell the Brazilian midfielder for £70million.
Coutinho endured a rough 18 months at the Nou Camp before leaving for Bayern Munich on loan last summer but he has struggled to impress in Germany.
Lampard reportedly believes he can help Coutinho return to his best and has urged the club to sign the Brazilian international.
