According to Goal, Chelsea will have to meet Barcelona’s asking price of £70million in order to sign Philippe Coutinho this summer.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is reportedly keen on signing the former Liverpool midfielder who has struggled to impress since leaving Liverpool for Barcelona in January 2018 for £140 million.
Coutinho endured a rough 18 months at the Nou Camp before leaving for Bayern Munich on loan last summer but he has struggled to impress in Germany.
Lampard reportedly believes he can help Coutinho return to his best and has urged the club to sign the Brazilian international.
Barcelona reportedly have little interest in retaining Coutinho and are hoping Chelsea sign the Brazilian.
