Manchester United winger Daniel James is a very pacey player but has named his teammate Aaron Wan-Bissaka as the toughest defender he has faced.
Jamie Carragher named Wan-Bissaka as the ‘best one-on-one defender in the world’ last month and Daniel James admitted that he usually finds it difficult against the defender, while also admitting that Chelsea youngster Reece James is as well tough.
“For me it’s obviously got to be Aaron. I don’t think we’ve seen many players get past him,” James replied when asked to name the ‘hardest’ defender he’s ever faced during a Combat Corona Twitch FIFA competition on Monday.
“And the Reece James, definitely. I played him last season at Wigan and he was definitely… and obviously he’s been playing this season as well.
“I’d say those two.”
On Chelsea team-mate James, Billy Gilmour chimed in: “He’s a beast. Nobody can get past him!”
