Chelsea last won the league under Antonio Conte in the 2016-17 season, and with Chelsea going under a rebuilding process with new boss Frank Lampard, one could wonder when Chelsea will win the league.

Lampard is building a model at Chelsea where’s he’s trying to bring up quality youth players from the academy, and Reece James believes it will pay off in time just like how Liverpool are now doing well under Jurgen Klopp.

When asked if Chelsea’s youthful side can win a title soon, James told ESPN FC: “Yeah I think definitely, but nothing is going to happen overnight, we still need to build as a team and get stronger.

“If you look at Liverpool, the last two years they have gradually increased and got better every season, it wasn’t just one season they magically turn out and they fly.

“We all need to stick together and keep working hard and hopefully with time to come we have a chance of winning a title.”
