Chelsea boss Frank Lampard seemed to have reached his limit of patience for Kepa Arrizabalaga after he dropped the first choice goalkeeper for Willy Caballero after a series of poor performance.
Kepa put in some good displays just before the season was suspended after he kept a clean sheet in back to back games against Liverpool and Everton.
Chelsea have been linked with Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana, Burnley’s Nick Pope, and reports even claim that Kepa could be part of a swap deal with AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Chelsea splashed over £70m to sign Kepa, and the Spaniard still has five years left in his contract with the club.
A loan deal would be expensive for any clubs interested in Kepa, with Chelsea expecting his wages to be paid in full, a fee and for an option to buy clause to be inserted into the deal, and reports claim that this is a huge concern for the club if they intend to sell or at least loan out Kepa Arrizabalaga.
