With the lack of non football activities since early March and things looking so bleak at the moment, there is a lot to ponder on by Premier League clubs.
Revenue generation has been on a standstill and there are also concerns about player contracts and wages at this time.
The Premier League clubs are all set to have another meeting on Friday with more and more clubs vying to finish the campaign by June 30.
According to Sky Sports, it will take place with clubs worried about the player contracts situation, with many expiring on June 30 as well as the expiration of commercial sponsorship deals a concern for some other clubs.
According to the Mirror, at least nine clubs have had serious discussions among themselves on this matter, and will voice out their opinion during the meeting on Friday.
The supposed clubs do not want the season to run into the summer, and want the season to end in such a manner which would allow Liverpool to win the title, the European spots to be decided and the relegation battle to be decided as well.
