Chelsea face a battle with Manchester United for the signature of England international Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund this summer.

Manchester United are reportedly leading Chelsea in the race to sign Sancho this summer.

According to Daily Express, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has told Chelsea boss Frank Lampard that he will have the funds required to sign Sancho should he wish to do so.

Lampard is desperate to sign a quality winger after losing Eden Hazard to Real Madrid last summer with the Blues unable to sign a replacement due to the transfer ban.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has hinted Sancho could leave at the end of the season.

Watzke told Bild recently: “Even before the coronavirus outbreak, we said that we prefer that Jadon stays with us. At the end of the day, however, you always have to respect what the player wants.

“I’ll say clearly that even the very rich clubs shouldn’t believe that they can come here to snap up bargains. We don’t have to sell anyone for less than they’re worth.”

  1. We should get Sancho. Get rid of Giroud , Batman , pedro , william , drinkwater , bakayoko, emerson, . Bring back our yound lad from leizip and add chiwell or telles. Sign one stricker.

  2. Word of cautipn to Lampard be careful some of the players you are outing this summer have been better than those regarded as shinning in those days you could call all the names. Those regarded sparkling today may not shine when they have entered.please don’t let Geroud and Willian go away. They could be better than those you want to buy in 100 of millions.

  3. Please lampard make sure you get a sharp striker like Timo Werner,Dembele and Martinez to help Tammy at the forward.please try everything to sign Werner

  4. There is this adage which says ” the devil you know is more better than the angel you don’t know ” so lets stick to some of our old players in case the new ones didn’t deliver….

  5. Frank, please buy timo, sancho and chillwell. Chelsea is lagging behind and looking more like arsenal in decision making. You have enough ho. E grown talent but you need experience. Sell anyone npt happy in the team but replace like for like in quality.

When i started watching Chelsea, Bobby Tambling was centre forward. Players come and go but as fans we never forget. A great player in his day and very much underrated was Marvin Hinton a great cool player. Charlie Cook skill at his feet, Tommy Baldwin. All great players in that error.
The game has changed greatly you only have to look at the pitch at the end of the season, I remember the mud pitch’s. So the game has gone forward but we still have great player’s today. I would say football is better today and I still enjoy watching my team. CHELSEA
