Chelsea winger Willian, has revealed that he is missing Stamford Bridge in a simple tweet.
The Brazilian shared a photo of Stamford Bridge on his twitter page, with the caption: “Miss this place”, and we’re not surprised.
Willian has indeed proven his love for the club and has been a dedicated player since joining in 2013 – and all Chelsea fans can attest to this.
We surely miss seeing you at the Bridge too, Willy.
Willian is currently with his family back in Brazil after Chelsea granted him a leave of absence following the suspension of the Premier League due to the coronavirus outbreak.
However, the Brazilian isn’t enjoying his stay back home and has revealed his routine is upside down.
“My routine is upside down, totally different from what I was used to,” Willian said as cited by The Mirror.
“A football player lives a lot away from home on trips, matches, training. They are always active. I keep in touch with people in the club via WhatsApp.
“We have a group in which we receive information, training sheets are placed and we send messages telling them what we have been doing.
“I have kept the training routine every day because we do not know when or under what circumstances the championship will return.
“I run and do some functional training, but it is not the same thing. One day we are in the field training and the next, alone at home. I don’t even have much room for exercise, but I have to keep in shape.
“It is not easy to not be able to do what you like. I got used to playing every middle and weekend at a high level.”
