Andriy Shevchenko made 77 appearances for Chelsea between 2006 and 2009 after joining from AC Milan for a then British record fee of £30.8 million.

The 2004 Ballon d’Or winner won just the FA Cup and League Cup during his time at Chelsea but he believes the Blues should have won a lot more.

“That Chelsea team should have won a lot more,” the 43-year-old told VBET News.

“We came very close to winning the Champions League.

“It wasn’t an easy time for me, due to injuries, but I enjoyed the club, fans and players.”
