Chelsea initiated ‘Phase One’ of the training return on Tuesday when the players started training in small groups.

However, N’Golo Kante refused to train with the squad on Wednesday and has been allowed to train at home starting from Wednesday.

Kante is reportedly concerned about returning to training because he has previous health issues — in 2018 he fainted in the dressing room at the training ground and he also lost his brother to a heart attack.

The Blues have nine Premier League games left and could be without the midfielder for all of those games as he isn’t keen to play when the virus is still out there.

A number of Premier League players have also voiced their displeasure with resuming football, with Troy Deeney and Danny Rose among the most vocal ones.

According to The Sun, Chelsea are prepared to allow N’Golo Kante to miss the rest of the 2019-20 season if his fears over coronavirus persist.

There is the debate on who’s right and wrong in this. But, what’s your take on Kante’s decision?

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
