Chelsea Women’s manager Emma Hayes has won the BBC’s WSL Manager of the Season award.

BBC has conducted a fan poll to determine the winner of the award, and 27 per cent of the voters chose Emma Hayes.

Hayes is indeed worthy of the award after guiding the Blues to an undefeated spell in the league so far with 12 wins and 3 draws, and have already lifted the League Cup.

Chelsea Women are in good stead to become champions as they are one point behind Man City, but the Blues have one game in hand, as the club is fighting for the third WSL trophy in the club’s history.

It’s not yet determined whether the WSL season will be completed due to the coronavirus pandemic, but Chelsea will be glad to have already lifted one trophy this season as the Blues defeated Arsenal 2-1 in the Continental League Cup two months ago.
