Chelsea are reportedly no longer interested in bringing back Jeremie Boga to Stamford Bridge.
According to Italy-based journalist Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have opted against using the buy-back clause for the 23 year old winger despite his excellent performances since leaving the club for Sassuolo in 2018.
The Blues have instead negotiated a sell-on clause with Sassuolo ahead of an expected move in the next transfer window, with Napoli interested in signing the winger.
Chelsea have a buy-back price of £13million but have now decided to get a percentage of the expected future sale.
A tweet by Romano read: “Chelsea have decided against using their buyback clause for Sassuolo’s Jérémie Boga. He’s staying in Italy – top season this year. Napoli are interested in him.”
Boga has 8 goals and 4 assists this season.
