Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is searching for a new left-back, with Emerson Palmieri and Marcos Alonso both heavily linked with moves to Serie A this summer.

Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell is Lampard’s first choice left-back target but with Leicester City demanding £80 million for the England international, the Blues are looking at other alternatives.

Telles has a €40 million (£36 million) release clause but it is believed Ajax will accept a fee of £22 million after the Argentine told the Dutch club he wants to leave this summer.

Tagliafico, who is under contract at Ajax until 2022, has scored five goals and provided seven assists in 38 appearances across all competitions this term.
