Fiorentina star Federico Chiesa has long been hailed as one of the best talents coming out of Italy in the past few seasons.
The 22-year-old has spent all his life at Fiorentina and is a fan favourite at the club where his father, Enrico Chiesa, also played.
The likes of Manchester United and Chelsea have been linked with the winger, and the Blues see him as a potential replacement for Willian, with the Brazilian’s current deal to run out at the end of the season.
Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso has admitted that the young winger may be allowed to leave if he wants to, but only at the right price.
“We had a meeting before Christmas if I’m not mistaken,” he told Radio Bruno Toscana.
“If he wants to go then I’m sorry, but we’d accommodate him, providing the offer is fair. We must also see what he’s worth.
“[His price] may have dropped since last year. It must suit everyone, although there’s a chance that he’ll stay.
“I haven’t offered Federico anything. There hasn’t been a proposal, it’s fake news. The important thing is that a player wants to stay.”
