Cesc Fabregas joined Chelsea from Barcelona in the summer of 2014 and left the club in January 2019 for French club Monaco.
According to the 33 year old midfielder, joining Chelsea was important for his career because Chelsea is a club hungry for titles.
Fabregas won two Premier League titles, an FA Cup and a League Cup before leaving Chelsea for Monaco last year.
“If you ask me when I was 23 years old and captain of Arsenal that I would be so happy to play for Chelsea, I would have said that you are crazy,” Fabregas said.
“But my understanding with the club, everyone who works at the club, the players, I was just so happy. We had some great coaches and again you can see it is a club who wants to win, who is hungry for titles.
“That was what I wanted. I knew going with Mourinho was important for my career.”
