Jose Mourinho is a revered manager in the world of football, and it’s not hard to see, as he has won the league in every country he has managed.

Mourinho is rated as one of the best managers the world has ever seen, but his career is not without its highs and lows, as the Portuguese has managed Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Manchester United and now Tottenham.

Mourinho had two stints at Chelsea and sacked twice by Roman Abramovich, and while the Blues had a lot of successes under the Portuguese, there were some hurtful moments as well.

However, Mourinho has now revealed that the only time he has ever cried as a manager was when Real Madrid lost to Bayern Munich in the 2012 Champions League.

He said, according to The Sun: “Unfortunately, that’s football.

“Cristiano, Kaka, Sergio Ramos… three complete monsters of football, there’s no doubt about that, but they’re also human.

“That night is the only time in my career as a coach that I’ve cried after a defeat. I remember it well… Aitor [Karanka] and I pulled up in front of my house, in the car, crying…

“It was very hard because we were the best that season.”

The Los Blancos were seen as the best team in Europe that season and has bested Barcelona in the Spanish league with record goals, record points and record home wins, only to lose to Bayern Munich on penalties in the Champions League semifinals.

Chelsea will eventually beat Bayern in penalty shootout to win their first ever Champions League.
