Reports earlier this month has claimed that Juventus are keen on signing Chelsea midfielder Jorginho, and the Old Lady are even ready to offer Miralem Pjanic to Chelsea as part of a swap deal.
Sarri is believed to be missing a Jorginho kind of player in the Juve team, and Jorginho is always central to his Sarri-ball system which hasn’t clicked perfectly in Turin.
Sarri ensured Chelsea pay Napoli £57m to sign Jorginho from Napoli back in 2018, and he’s now keen to reunite with the midfielder once again.
Meanwhile, Jorginho’s agent has hailed the quality of Juventus while also revealing that Jorginho is happy at Stamford Bridge. He also denied that the Italian side has contacted him over a likely move.
“Juve are one of the top clubs in Europe, all players would like an experience there,” Joao Santos told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“But I didn’t hear from anyone, [Fabio] Paratici hasn’t call me.
“Jorginho is currently a Chelsea player, has a three-year contract and is doing well in London.
When asked about a possible reunion with Sarri, Santos replied: “I repeat… Juve are a great club, among the best in Europe.”
