According to Football Insider, Chelsea have leapfrogged Tottenham in the race to sign Dutch wonderkid Lamare Bogarde this summer.

The 16 year old midfielder is also attracting interest from Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, Schalke, Juventus and AC Milan.

With Frank Lampard giving chances to youngsters at Chelsea this season, the 16 year old wonderkid reportedly believes he has a better chance at Chelsea than at Tottenham Hotspur under Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho’s preference for big-name signings or even short-term deals for players past their peak instead of promoting youngsters has hurt Tottenham’s chances of signing the wonderkid.

Chelsea are reportedly confident of completing a deal for the midfielder.
