Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is a huge admirer of Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell and is keen on signing the England international this summer.
Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has admitted his club can’t compete financially with Chelsea but is confident that Leicester’s new state-of-the-art training ground will convince their players to stay and compete with the Premier League elite.
“There’s ambition with the club,” Rodgers told beIN SPORTS. “We can never compete financially with the top six but we can be competitive [on the pitch].
“We move to a new training ground later in the summer which will be one of the best in the world. The consistency has been great to see. Up until Christmas we were on a great run.
“It’s always refreshing when you work with a group who are so hungry to learn. They want to be better, they want to improve. But then you have senior players who are top-class professionals and that always helps.”
This season, Ben has played 28 games across all competitions so far, scored 2 goals, including one in a 2-2 draw against Chelsea, and registered 4 assists.
