According to Daily Mail, Premier League will send inspectors to Chelsea and other Premier League clubs to ensure clubs don’t bend rules when they return to training today.
One inspector will be deployed at the training ground of every top-flight club in a bid to stop clubs from gaining an upper hand by extending practice beyond new time limits and carrying out underhand activities such as holding tactical meetings behind closed doors.
The inspectors will also monitor clubs’ adherence to rules which state only 40 people – each tested twice a week – are permitted within the inner sanctum.
Premier League clubs are returning to training today with the league expected to return on June 12, although there is a growing belief within the game that June 19 is more realistic.
