Danny Drinkwater joined Chelsea in 2017 from Leicester City in a £35m move, but the 30-year-old midfielder failed to impress at Stamford Bridge.
Drinkwater never really gained a foothold in the Chelsea first team, and has only featured in 23 games for the Blues, scoring one goal.
Last season was a terrible one for him as he was completely frozen out by former boss Maurizio Sarri.
Drinkwater’s time as a Chelsea player has been filled with lots of negative off-field actions that have further dented his image.

However, the 30-year-old has revealed he has no regrets whatsoever.
“Again, no regrets… but I have learned and know and understand a lot more,” the midfielder said in a fan Q&A session on Instagram.
“I try not to regret things, but learn. Things haven’t gone as good as I hoped after I left Leicester because of one thing or another, but I had to give it a chance.”
