Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is a keen admirer of Barcelona star Philippe Coutinho, having seen the Brazilian destroy the Premier League during his time at Liverpool.
However, since making a big money move to Barcelona, the 27-year-old has been unable to rediscover his best form, and his loan spell at Bayern Munich hasn’t gone on well.
Bayern are not keen on turning Coutinho’s deal into a permanent move, and Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo claim his agent Joorabchian told Barcelona that Coutinho is keen on a return to the Premier League.
Joorabchian had recently admitted that Coutinho would enjoy a return to the Premier League, saying: “I don’t have any preference where the players go.
“I don’t try to push someone to one club or another. Everything is a possibility. After the Champions League game he played in England we had a long chat about it.
“The Premier League is something that he has always enjoyed playing in, and loved playing in, and would probably love to come back and play in.
“The question is what are going to be the financial conditions of all the clubs, including Barcelona and all the Premier League clubs at the end of this pandemic.”
