Chelsea’s latest signing Hakim Ziyech was recently named Ajax’s Player of the Year for the third year in a row.

The Moroccan international, who completed a €40 million move to Chelsea in February, scored 8 goals and provided 21 assists in 35 matches this season for Ajax.

After being named Ajax’s player of the year, Ziyech took to Instagram to express his joy at being named Ajax’s Player of the Year.

“At the end of this incredible journey, I was named ‘Ajacied of the year’ for the third time in a row, such an honour,” the 27-year-old wrote.

“I will never forget the past 4 years at this amazing club, thanks to everyone at Ajax. But most of all I want to thank the fans who made sure that these memories will last forever.”

Chelsea stars Reece James, Tammy Abraham, Cesar Azpilicueta, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Billy Gilmour all congratulated their new teammate.
