Willian has been a top player since joining Chelsea in 2013, but it seems that the Brazilian is in the final year of his contract with the Blues.

Talks of a contract extension seems to have broken down, as Willian wants a three-year deal, while the club is only keen on giving him a two-year deal.

Former Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Paul Robinson has revealed that Willian could be interested in a move to Spurs, due to his relationship with Jose Mourinho and he believes that the Brazilian will impress Spurs fans.

“Willian will not come cheap wages wise,” he told Football Insider.

“A player that has a great relationship with Mourinho. If the player wants to stay in London and Tottenham was an option for him, you would imagine that would be his first choice.

“Loyalties towards Chelsea would have to be put to one side.

“I do not think it would take long for him to win over the Spurs fans. A lot of Spurs fans would take him with open arms because he is a top-class player.”
