According to Daily Mail, Chelsea will attempt another raid on the Bundesliga with a move for Bayer Leverkusen starlet Kai Havertz.
With Willian set to leave Chelsea at the end of the season, the Blues want a young wide player to replace the outgoing Brazilian.
Chelsea face fierce competition from other top European clubs like Bayern Munich and Real Madrid for the signature of the 20 year old.
Havertz is under contract at Bayer Leverkusen until 2022 and the Blues will need to spend at least £75 million on the Germany international.
Bayer’s sporting director Simon Rolfes said about Havertz: “We don’t know yet what will happen to Kai.
“We know that all the great clubs from Germany and Europe are after him and that he has the ability to play anywhere.”
