Arsenal legend Paul Merson has hailed soon-to-be Chelsea player Timo Werner as a game changer.
The RB Leipzig striker has agreed a deal to leave the German club for Chelsea this summer.
Merson wrote in a column for Starsport: “This is a young Chelsea team as well. Werner is 24, Hakim Ziyech is 27. The young players who are already there will only get better.
“But Werner is a game changer. He’s a massive signing. If you look at the way Chelsea play, they like to break quickly – and he has got pace.
“With Werner, I think Chelsea become major players again, at just the right time. I’d be shocked if they don’t win the title in the next four years.”
