Chelsea youngster could be handed debut after impressing Frank Lampard in training

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has given youth a chance this season with several youngsters including Mason Mount, Billy Gilmour and Reece James making their debuts for Chelsea this season.

Lampard is looking to keep that trend going after being impressed with another Chelsea youngster in training.

According to Football London, Chelsea youngster Henry Lawrence has impressed Lampard in training ahead of a return to Premier League action.

Lampard has been impressed with the 18-year-old’s ability at right-back, with Lawrence deputising for the injured James.

The 18 year old also showed his versatility by filling in on the wing and in central midfield.
