Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz has been linked with every top club in the Premier League this season, and it’s not hard to see why.
The 20-year-old has developed into one of the Bundesliga’s finest players and also rated among Bayer Leverkusen’s best and most important players since making his first-team debut in 2016, and has scored 43 goals in 143 appearances for the club.
He has been in top form this season and resumed the campaign in extraordinary fashion.
However, former Liverpool and Bayern Munich star Dietmar Hamann has claimed the Bundesliga star would improve any team in the Premier League, but tipped Manchester United as the best destination for the 20-year-old.
“I think a lot of Premier League clubs will be interested in him, he’s a terrific player and there’s not many better around at the moment,” he told Sky Sports.
“If you look at Manchester United, it’s very clear they need new personnel going forward, and I think he’d improve pretty much every team.
“Liverpool are a bit different with the way they set-up and play, but besides that I think he improves every team.
“Before the break people were talking about three figures, a hundred-odd million, if that’s a price any club is prepared to pay in the summer, I’m not sure, but the likelihood is he will leave Leverkusen and take on another challenge in the summer.”
