Manchester United are five points behind fourth placed Chelsea on the Premier League table.
With seven games left to play, former Chelsea midfielder Craig Burley believes the Red Devils have an advantage over Chelsea in the race for top four because they have an easier schedule.
Chelsea are yet to face the likes of Sheffield United, Wolves and Liverpool while the only top team Manchester United have got to face is Leicester City.
“There’s no doubt that Chelsea have to make sure they nail this top four,” Burley told ESPN FC.
“Fifth place as you know may get Champions League football, but it might not. United have improved and we know United’s run-in is particularly easy.
“Chelsea have given themselves a bit of breathing space, but they’ve got to make sure they get the job done.”
While Manchester United have an easier schedule than Chelsea, it should also be noted that the Red Devils have struggled against the so-called smaller teams this season.
