Rumours of Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri’s interest in Chelsea midfielder Jorginho won’t go away, as the Juve boss is keen on signing the Chelsea midfielder during the summer transfer window, and is ready to go as far as offering Miralem Pjanic in a swap deal.

Jorginho is an integral part of Sarri’s famous football style called Sarri-ball, and it was the Italian who was responsible for bringing him to Chelsea from Napoli.

Former Juventus chief Moggi has now claimed that Sarri’s main desire is to sign Jorginho.

Speaking to Tuttomercatoweb about the midfielder, the former Juve general director said: “I wouldn’t change [Miralem] Pjanic in the midfield, but Sarri’s true goal is always Jorginho.

“He is a footballer who knows him [Sarri] well as he had him for many years before at Napoli and then at Chelsea. As an alternative in Turin, [PSG midfielder Marco] Verratti can arrive, but not [Barcelona’s] Arthur.”
