Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool have all been linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho.

Sancho has also attracted massive interests from top European clubs, but it seems Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has ruled himself out of any possible move for Sancho.

Klopp hailed the player as he sent a teasing message to Sancho, but he also admitted that it would be impossible for Liverpool to sign Sancho this summer.

When asked about Liverpool potentially signing Sancho this summer, Klopp told Bild: “A red jersey would look very good on Jadon Sancho.

“But I don’t think such a transfer will take place this summer.

“He is a very interesting player. If he moved to Liverpool, I would be the most surprised of all.”

Meanwhile, Liverpool were the favourites to sign Timo Werner from RB Leipzig, but it was Chelsea who won the race for the top German striker at the end of the day.
