Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante opted out of early training sessions ahead of the Premier League restart because of his concerns about the coronavirus pandemic.
Ahead of the Chelsea’s Premier League game against Aston Villa on Sunday, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard insists N’Golo Kante is fully fit, ready to play.
Lampard said: “It was genuine.
“I was very sympathetic. He wanted to be clear with how it was going to work.
“That’s been sorted out. He’s been training with the group for a while. He’s happy and as fit as anyone else.”
