Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has found joy against Chelsea, as the United manager had never lost to Chelsea since he replaced Jose Mourinho as manager in 2018.

In his five games against Chelsea, Solskjaer has recorded a draw and four wins. Just this season alone, he has beaten Frank Lampard’s side three times, including an opening day 4-0 defeat at Old Trafford in the Premier League.

Both teams are now through to the semi-final of the FA Cup, as Chelsea defeated Leicester City and Manchester United defeated Norwich City to progress.

Upon drawing Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final, Solskjaer revealed his excitement as he said at his press conference on Monday morning: “We’re delighted to be in the semis to be against a team we’ve played so many times.

“In the last 18 months we seem to have played Chelsea every other weekend. ‘It’s a game we’re looking forward to.”
