Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has made up his mind over Philippe Coutinho, reports claim.
Chelsea, Tottenham and Newcastle have been linked with a move for former Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho, with Mourinho believed to be keen on the attacking midfielder.
Coutinho has struggled since leaving Liverpool for Barcelona, and also struggled with a loan move to German giants Bayern Munich.
The Brazilian is expected to leave Barcelona this summer after he returns from his loan at Bayern Munich.
Coutinho is keen to return to the Premier League where he made a huge mark playing for Liverpool, and any club keen to sign him must be willing to pay his £240,000-per-week wages.
The Sun now claims that Spurs boss Jose Mourinho doesn’t want to sign the flamboyant playmaker because he is worried it will make his other players ask for wage increases, a decision which will be music to the ears of Daniel Levy.
Only six Spurs players earn more than £100,000-per-week, and Mourinho is believed to have made the final decision to not push for a move for Coutinho anymore.
