With Leroy Sane set to leave Manchester City this summer, Pep Guardiola hopes to replace the Germany international by signing a Chelsea transfer target.
According to Foot Mercato, Guardiola is in contact with Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey about joining Manchester City as Leroy Sane’s replacement.
Chelsea have scouted Bailey for several years now and the Blues will reportedly make a move for the winger if the club is unable to sign Kai Havertz, a teammate of Bailey.
With Chelsea still not decided on Bailey, Guardiola is hoping to steal a march on the Blues and have already contacted the winger.
Guardiola has laid out his vision to Bailey and is working to convince the 22-year-old to join City.
Bailey is reportedly keen on the idea of working under Guardiola at Manchester City and Bayer Leverkusen are reportedly demanding a transfer fee of £40million for the Jamaican.
