According to Daily Express, Premier League side Newcastle are ready to raid Chelsea for Marcos Alonso when their £300m takeover goes through.
Newcastle owner Mike Ashley has agreed to sell the club and the new owners have reportedly told intermediaries to tell Chelsea of their interest in the left-back.
Alonso still has three years left on his Chelsea contract but his future under Frank Lampard is up in the air, with the Chelsea boss eyeing Leicester left-back Ben Chilwell.
Meanwhile, according to Football 365, Chelsea are willing to part with four defenders to raise the transfer fee necessary to sign Ben Chilwell from Leicester.
The report claims Marcos Alonso, Emerson Palmieri, Kurt Zouma and Andreas Christensen are available to be sold this summer to fund Chilwell transfer.
