According to Spanish media outlet AS, Spanish giants Real Madrid are set to revive their interest in N’Golo Kante this summer and could make an offer of £71million for the Chelsea midfielder.
Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is keen on strengthening his midfield this summer and is a big admirer of Kante.
Real Madrid are confident of signing Kante because it is believed Chelsea may have to sell players to fund the club’s summer spending spree.
Chelsea have already secured a deal for Ajax star Hakim Ziyech, who will join this summer for €40million (£36million) and the Blues are expecting to complete a deal for RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.
Chelsea are also targeting Bayer Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz, with the Germany international likely to cost around £75million.
Kante has three years left on his Chelsea contract and has won the Premier League, the FA Cup and the Europa League since joining Chelsea.
