Chelsea have moved to secure two signings in Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner ahead of next season, and it’s also expected that players will also leave the club.
West Ham have been linked with Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley and also striker Michy Batshuayi, and reports have confirmed the interest of the Hammers boss.
A report from The Mirror has claimed West Ham manager David Moyes has confirmed he wants to bring Barkley to the London Stadium.
West Ham have been linked with Barkley for some time and were said to be looking to sign him on loan with an option back in January which didn’t happen, and The Mirror claims Moyes has told them he wants a reunion with Barkley after they worked together at Everton.
With Timo Werner set to join Chelsea, one Blues player who will definitely leave the club this summer is Michy Batshuayi, after four years at the club.
According to Daily Express, Chelsea are holding out for £40 million for the transfer of Batshuayi, an amount interested clubs are unwilling to pay for the striker.
Batshuayi joined Chelsea from Marseille four years ago for £40 million but has struggled to hold down a regular place in the team.
Despite scoring 25 times in 77 games for the Blues, he has always been down the pecking order and has had loan spells at Borussia Dortmund, Valencia and Crystal Palace.
