According to FiveThirtyEight’s latest predictions, Chelsea have been backed to finish a point ahead of Leicester City this season, with Lampard’s side expected to take 67 points to the Foxes’ 66.
Chelsea have been given a 93 per cent chance of securing a Champions League place next season, with Leicester City given a 91 per cent chance.
Meanwhile, Manchester United have been given a 79 per cent chance of qualifying for the Champions League.
Tottenham Hotspur are predicted to finish seventh and four points behind Wolves who have been backed to finish sixth. Arsenal are backed to finish eight, four points behind Spurs in 7th.
