Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz is attracting massive interest from top European clubs around the world, with Chelsea, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Bayern Munich all rumoured to be interested in the 21-year-old.
Havertz, 21, has established himself as one of the most exciting young players in Germany after racking up 11 goals and five assists for Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga this season.
Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller has witnessed Havertz’s exceptional talent up close while on duty with the German national team, and he has hailed the 21-year-old as the best player at his age.
“In my last appearances for the national team, I enjoyed training and playing with him,” Muller said.
“He’s an extremely good player, if not Europe’s top talent for his age. He has very good abilities.
“Of course at Bayern we want to have the best players with the best abilities.
“Unfortunately, I have no insight into the financial area and the sports director area.
“I don’t know what is planned and which budget can be allocated to transfers in the current situation.”
