Ahead of his move to Chelsea, RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner had already revealed his best position.
Werner revealed earlier this season that the No.10 role helps him a lot because it gives him freedom on the pitch.
He also admitted he’s versatile and can play on the left, right and as a lone striker.
“I’m playing in a slightly different position as a kind of No.10,” Werner explained earlier this season.
“That helps me a lot. I’ve got a lot of freedom.
“You often have to wait a long time for your chance and stay patient. But I’ve developed in that regard.”
He also added: “I’ve become more versatile under [RB Leipzig coach] Julian Nagelsmann, and have already played in a number of positions. I haven’t just played out on the left or right… but also as a No.10 or lone striker.”
