According to Football London’s Alasdair Gold, Tottenham Hotspur will still enquire about signing Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud despite his contract extension.
He wrote: “I think Spurs will still make an enquiry despite Chelsea taking the option on his contract so he doesn’t leave for free. He ticks plenty of boxes.
“With another striker joining he’s just not going to play much but will Chelsea let him leave for Spurs?
“Osimhen is going to cost £75m plus and his agent has said he won’t sign if Kane is at the club.”
Giroud isn’t the only player Spurs are interested in signing this summer as reports have claimed Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is keen on reuniting with Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma at Tottenham.
