Chelsea star Christian Pulisic has proven that he’s not intimidated with the signing of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner.
Pulisic had given a top performance in the games against Aston Villa and Manchester City, and his performance against Manchester City proves that he can play a top role in the Chelsea team next season.
When the young American first arrived at Stamford Bridge, the 21-year-old was in and out of the squad. He struggled to nail down a regular starting berth and questions were beginning to be asked about whether or not he was going to be a success at Chelsea.
The signings of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner further cast doubts on Pulisic’s future, but he has impressed in recent games that he won’t be bullied out of the squad.
Meanwhile, former Blue Craig Burley has revealed his excitement about the trio of Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner.
Burley said: “Chelsea have been really exciting this season and I think that will give the fans big hope for next season, particularly with the signings of Ziyech and Werner.
“Chelsea were excellent [against City]. Pulisic deserved his start and was brilliant. He could have had another goal but he was excellent.”
